Very nice to hear this!!!I have a beast tec for this...

1/3 of our business is TEC related but its for industrial apps, so you guys never seen it. Never think for a moment that I forget about our application. Just need to find something that works for the enthusiast :-)

Intel i7 860 @ 4.0Ghz, Asus Maximus III Formula, 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws X F3 (@ 1600Mhz), 2x GTX 295 Quad SLI
2x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2 RAID 0, OCZ ZX 1000W, NZXT Phantom (Pink), Dell SX2210T Touch Screen, Windows 8.1 Pro
Koolance RP-401X2 1.1 (w/ Swiftech MCP35X), XSPC EX420, XSPC X-Flow 240, DT Sniper, EK-FC 295s (w/ RAM Blocks), Enzotech M3F Mosfet+NB/SB
Each TEC is ~ $60. There are 4 of them per Thermal Head.

Something like a piece of copper with 4 tecs and 4 waterblocks to cool them(direct die)?
混沌とした アンモラル
conventional wb design using 4 high-end tec modules instead of 1 large cheapass one.
CEO Swiftech
how many mm tec?

Considering the TEC's alone is almost 250€, I highly doubt that will happen. Add PSU, block costs etc. and you are closing in on phase change territory when it comes to price. And TEC's will be eaten alive in terms of performance.
But nonetheless really looking forward to see what you guys can come up with, Gabe
Asus Crosshair IV Extreme
AMD FX-8350
AMD ref. HD 6950 2Gb x 2
4x4Gb HyperX T1
Corsair AX1200
3 x Alphacool triple, 2 x Alphacool ATXP 6970/50, EK D5 dual top, EK Supreme HF
TEC's will more likely require less isolation, and for me they wont make the noise a prommy does ( I used one for 24/7 for over an year ) and that are two big advantages. As for the price 60$ ~45€ , so that would be 180€ in TEC's :P still a lot to go to the 250 ^_^
i have made many TEC water blocks and chillers swiftech desperately needs to get over TEC water blocks and start making TEC chillers as they actually work. 3(50x50mm) 226 watt TEC is an absolute minimum but really you want 4-6 of them. Having less but higher powered ones seems to offer little benefit in actual cooling power and a SIGNIFICANT reduction in life expectancy particularly when high wattages are passed though them.
Please Please Please Swiftech start making water chillers (just the chillers) so we can have a revival of TEC stuff again please. I have a modular design you can have and improve on, so the end user can just plug more and more tec's in if they need more cooling power.

Lets see what beast do you make!Any pics Gabe?

Sorry yall, I just can't (no time) have an ongoing conversation on the subject matter right now. I didn't post to tease btw, just saw this thread, and figured I'd let you know what I was doing. Maybe I should't have..
I'll keep you posted as soon as I have results. if they (results) don't make sense, then I'll just tell you.

Its ok we are here

Swiftech is in my view the most likely company to ever make a successful TEC "whatever" since they have a history with TEC stuff. i believe their last publicized block the mcw7500 didn't work as well as expected and was dumped but seasoned TECer " ive been doing it for 16 years now could have told them that for free. Im not saying these things to discourage Swiftech quite the opposite. If swiftech follows the successful formula of others and add their significantly better manufacturing process they could produce low cost awesomely performing products.
Tiss just a dream probably. Mind you im writing this on a TEC cooled pc that actually works.
