It's a shame for my Dominator GT, was good ram (Elpida Hyper) but 3 sticks and 2000 C7 at 1.65v

I don't know if they pass the 2400 C9 or C10 at 1.65v but I don't think

Think your Corsair contact doesn't seem to be aware of his own product line. To behonest, I already would be surprised if you got a GTX8 kit as replacement at all...
