    Which G-SKILL for I5 2500K?

I might decided to change my rig in signature.

I already have: MSI HAWK GTX 460 + ASROCK EXTREME4 GEN3/I5 2500K in plan to buy.

I got to choose G-SKILL memory and there're too many.

    G.Skill PC3-12800 "RipJawsX" KIT 8192 MB F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL will it be enough for 50€ ?

PSU will be good enough? I have LC-POWER GP2 550W.

Depends on your needs, but that is a good average kit. You can also go slightly higher like F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL

Very good overclocking for the price.

    Thank you

There are many choices because of all the different specs, but you can use any one. Higher frequency just means the memory is capable of faster, so the user needs to determine which level of performance they would like.

I suggested the 14900 because price is a little more, and it overclocks very nicely. BUT, you are in Slovenija, so availability and price may be different. The 12800 will be fine, I'm sure that is more common.

    Thank you

Hi.Im also choosing RAM for my upcoming i5 (major upgrade compared to my current one).Currently i have 2 different kits in sights. Can you explain the difference?:
    G.Skill F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR PC3-14900
    G.skill F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL PC3-14900

First is Sniper.Im guessing more for gamers?
Second is Ripjaws X and im guessing these are for overclockers?

Price difference between the two is minimal and both the speeds and timings are same so im not sure which one to take.
Im looking for maximum overclock ability for good 24/7 OC.

    I could problably get cheaper modules @ 1600Mhz 2x4GB but i rather take 1866.

Definitely the RipJaws X, they are worth the price over DDR3-1600.

    Thank you

Wow, those prices make it a very tough decision..

Can you use more than ~7GB? If possible, then may as well go with 16GB kit.

If you just want a very good gaming kit, the 1866 will be a good performer.

    Thank you

Sniper is low voltage, RipJaws is normal.
