dont give up yet! go over every setting in the memory section... i mean test and test each one individually... ALL of them.

I think its time to finally touch the OS to see if I can gain a tad more. Using the same bclk, I can get .03 faster at loop 24 (and .02-.04 faster on all loops), but final result is the exact same as previously posted... either i need to up bclk (i dont really want to) or I need to tune the OS a little more to get that last .03 to register properly... yes .03 not .3.

99% of the time I posted is work in BIOS. The OS only gives a boost because its XP.

anybody want to post up some adia64 screenies so we can get an idea on how our bandwidth and latency is doing? Im finding a direct relationship between adia64's latency reading, and pi times.

Thanks, but thats not my fastest air run for this thread.

I cant catch badatgames18 on air... im about .1 bclk shy of what I need to catch him

    very nice zen,

I can run 108.2 on water and boot from the bios, I just don't have any hypers only bbse and they don't seem to want to run 5-5-5 or 5-6-5 on the 1:5 divider, so still more testing to do.

I will switch to bbse (ripjaws blue) and maximus later and see what we can work out

    *edit*

turns out im a complete noob. I went over every *i mean every* setting and tested it it. turns out since the set xdflag to return to 0 was set as enabled i was losing a ton of performance and copywaza wasnt working...

fyi, set xdflag *which is a CPU feature* is not listed in the CPU features sub section... and I overlooked it for 3 solid days... stupid me trying to overclock while im sick.

I think i can get into the high 6's with 1 more bclk, but that requires cold... and im on all air right now.

    GA-Z68XP-UD4

tuning in windows 7 is not a waste of time
hey zen.. is that xdflag a bios setting? or os? how do i check it lol

    hi guys

here's mine up to my max bclk (108.3 set = 108.1)

using old AIDA v1.5 which has unfixed copy score.
copy on newer version gives around -1Gb/s for these settings.
can't get close to ZenEffect's latency though, not due to aida version. i wonder what's different in UD4XP ?

cheapseats! you don't know me, but i saw your cl6 run with your gtx2 and i am a big fan
tried on my gtx2, but would not cooperate with my mive on air..(that was air right?)

anyways.. that is an awesome run!
will post my backup tomorrow or whenever my new mobo arrives, (using a weird netbook.. don't have sata connections )

    D9 on SB.. what vdimm?

To CS.. can i put a prize up? makes it more fun

latency got a decent bump when i set memory to expert mode and rtl to A25 and B26

now its time to chase down a score! great run cheapseats gtx2 keeps dominating every efficiency race!

sst for me they seem pretty ok for this comp though.. i think my effic is the same tbh.. gain is like .5 sec per .1 bclk almost cant get 36 trfc though so i have to run 37

is your tfaw actually 16 because ive tested tfaw below 16 = gainbut not too low or else it gets slower ... of course screen shot might be aida bug like trp etc?

getting a bit quicker at same bclk, hoping to get into the 7:01:300's

Hi... Well i think you can put a prize if you want. But how do you select the winner here ?

Here's my run . Not 110 Mhz BCLK , but close to it .

    I7 2600K @ -25C with SS cooling
    Asus Maximus IV 1904 Bios
Corsair Dominator 2000CL7 @ Stock Cooling
    Corsair AX1200 PSU

    Thanks .

All skews at auto . In fact , almost all voltages are auto , except VCCSA which i have to set at : 0.99375V . It's something that helps my CPU . With VCCSA auto , i have a wall at 109.8Mhz .

With air cooling this CPU has a maximum BCLK at 106.3Mhz .

Finally , i should say that this BCLK is bootable from BIOS .

I dont play for prizes but just because i like 32m . Every time i see a low clock i like to take the opportunity to test my knowledge and tweaking.

very true, but to be honest, you have turned it into a bclk race again (no offense)

we should divide the times up from ambient temps and subzero to get a better demographic of how these scores actually lay. Its hard to compare efficiency when bclk is flying all over the place.

as far as prizes are concerned... meh, im in it for fun and the friendly competition

can you run air? i will run same bclk as i cant go past 108.1 cold and 107.2 on air. that way its a matter of tuning, not bclking.

I know what you mean , but it wasn't me who started it . You could find runs at 107 , 108 and 109 BCLK .
I just followed the rule of 45X multiplier . Even the thread starter knew that 110 BCLK would be possible.

I can run air up to 106.2 i think .

I agree that dividing the scores would be better (Like 105.X range , 106.X range ... etc) , but first we have to compare Gigabyte & Asus & MSI boards . i'm not sure if Gigabyte gives correct clocks in CPU-Z as it reads 0.2Mhz lower than Bios settings. Easytune reads the same clocks as BIOS .

    cheers guys

hey bad what's your bclk for 6m57 ?
btw, the JNL was 1.82v, 2 of my sticks won't take much more vdimm without errors.
but higher bin like 1866 Blue might do CL5

Zen: your 25/26 RTL explains it very nice!
i only noticed latency but actually your read was better too.

my aida tfaw was same as bios set 16 (4 x tRRD)
For bug did you mean that Aida doesn't show tWTR, tRRD, tRTP < 4, but can set < 4 in bios ?
think aida is correct with min = 4.
    i didn't see perfomance increase < 4 so i set all @ 4
