Andre, nice scores. Btw, on this valid the cl2 must be a simple bug, right? http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1980971

Not necessarily, unless having tested on lhe it's not wise to assume that, chips that had tested good on ln2 scaled poor on lhe ( less than 100mhz and or backwards scaling.

Also we found that if you maxxed chips out on ln2 with high volts they would no longer work under lhe properly......

Lhe is a totally diff animal and mistakes are costly....making a simple assumption costs like $1000USD...........

Really impressive numbers here, I'm curious what is possible with these CPUs.

tCAS=2 appears if you change the CPU multiplier on the fly.

Thread seems to be pruned and as expected Andre busts out another backup.

    EDIT;
It is funny because it is true, I dont recall one single LHe session that was not powered by AMD.

And any event you went to I suppose you supplied the ln2 ( assumed the costs ) for the sponsor?

Of course they paid for it as do any other sponsors.

I recall events where 10 240's LN2 tanks were supplied, like thats any cheaper than 1 tank of ln2 and a tank of lhe

Also it may cost AMD but I'd hate to be the one picking the wrong cpu's for Lhe for AMD and that was the point of the comment in above post.

Actually break even is 12x 230L LN2 against one LHe, really crazy expensive stuff. (And more like 18-22x 230L if taking consumption into the equation)
Point was simply, that AMD is the only ones that has interest in LHe being present, it is out of cost propotion of the oveclockers - exactly same as a carbon/diamond pot would be, dispite the conductvity being slightly higher.

Then why are there normal overclockers thinkin about doing LHe sessions on their own?

I have not heard of such, but again, you know more overclockers then I do.
But actually not true, price/L on LHe is 1400% next to what I am supposed to pay for LN2.

It' a fellow countrymen that has posted this on a forum... I almost peed my pants when he wrote that...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Who said that your pricing is the pricing everywhere.......

IIRC we did Blackops LHe on one chip for thuban for $250 our ln2 bill was almost the same with 3 180's.

    The price here (increased since last check in 2009), is..... 136 DKK + 25% VAT = 170 DKK = 31,13 USD = 22,85 Euro..... For 1 liter.

You guys get politely asked to bend over for liquified anything. LN2 in the US can be had for under $0.20/liter and LHe for under $5/liter. Still doesn't make a LHe run on a personal budget worth the investment.
