This topic just goes to show that OC'ers have memories as short as the clock cycles of the CPU's they tweak. . . .and what happened to his lifetime ban here???, I see it's no longer in effect.
Circles SucQ!
If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig
Bribery won't work on me...just say NO to AT!!!
Forgiving one's mistakes and friendly embracing the ones with the same passion is a thing for gentlemen, which is how all people from a certain level up should be, in any type of activity... At this level, an action like a "ban" is a way to give somebody some time to think about what they have done, and realise the mistake, not a lifetime punishment. Of course, this is my personal opinion, and I may be wrong...
It was just the magic hand (again ) Great job there !!!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
I know the thread(s) very well, I do not remember approving what he did there. BUT, first of all this thread is about a great achievement, second of all Andre is not the only overclocker that ever did a mistake, and third of all, I, as a part of the overclocking community, do not agree with you. That is MY personal opinion and what you stated above is YOUR personal opinion, and I think that our personal opinions do not make a general rule, it is up to the community to judge this. Not in this thread, if you ask me, but again, that is my personal opinion...
Seems someone is going to have to rewrite that Guinness World Record plaque that AMD has been showing off....
If at first you don't exceed try try again........
The record is going to fall based on better chips in retail finer tuned process, better bios but it just isn't going to fall today........
What do you think we were all sitting on our asses with just 8429?

lol, good job Andre
Andre has expressed questionable ethics at times but you can't deny that he has the resources and talent to really push where a lot of us aren't able to. He's on my overclocking team and I still supported a temporary ban from the scene. On the one hand you have to punish those who toe or cross the line but on the otherhand you can't hold grudges. Settling differences and moving on is more appropriate. If you don't like it you don't have to participate.
Maybe for a few days? Then back to the grind searching for more chips Agreed though, given AMDs history, we'll see the FX series continue to scale in frequency as the process gets massaged. Bring on 9 GHz.
