    asus 990fx bios sabertooth

I just installed the Asus Sabertooth 990fx board with the FX4100 chip. When I go into the bios I am not getting all the tabs on my screen for some reason. The advanced section doesnt show the boot or tools tab.I also cant see the full main screen of the bios some sections are hidden. There also seems to be some graphics tears on the screen. This is the 2nd board and they both have the same issue. Its almost like the resolution is to big just a guess.

Are you saying, it seems like the image is over shooting the screen? What Monitor are you using? That does seem rather strange. You might try hitting the "auto" button (if your monitor has one) while in the BIOS.

Some sets are not PC native (For a generic way of putting it). This is a scalling issue. You can correct these issues once in windows using your Vidoe card Software, if support on you video output, but in BIOS you can't. Your TV may have an adjustment or sizing option to help with this.

In the BIOS it won't matter anyhow. But in Windows, you have to adjust the scalling using the Video cards software. Like this below. In AMD's CCC, you can adjust the slider to underscan if the image is over shooting the screen and over scan if the image is smaller then the screen. But like I said, when in the BIOS this does not help, only in Windows.
