Are PC Power and Cooling PSUs as good as they used to be? The Silencer series used to be the tops at one point, right?
I'm not sure on the silencer series specifically, but I know in general their supplies are very nice. I've been using a Turbocool 860W in my rig for several years now and I've been pretty impressed with the quality (I metered my 12V rail and it was 12.01V loaded). I've had zero problems with the supply so far. I've had one conversation with their tech support and they were knowledgeable and spoke english. 7 yrs warranty isn't too shabby either. Based on my experiences I'd buy from them again.

I have a Silencer 760 powering a 6970/BD 8120 (4.5Ghz)/8GB ram/2 x 60GB SSD/2 x 1 TB HDs/Water cooling setup and about 6 case fans. No problems whatsoever. Great PSUs.
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"
Good find.
PC Power and Cooling still make high quality PSUs
