    AMD FX-8350 .. a small preview

    Hey guys

    Just wanted to share a couple of benchmarks that i have been able to run on the new bad boy from AMD
    I was having trouble getting a bunch of benchmarks to run but that is because i dont have the right bios for this chip at the moment.
    For example i couldnt get super pi or geekbench to run on my bios (9920.. old !)
    I will update with more results as i run them but these i ran about a hour ago .

    So far so good as to the overclocking.. clocks similar to my 8150 .. the volts here were a little on the high side but its on cold water

    Chilled water 5.9ghz? Was it stable?

    Maximum CPU-Z validation is not stable...
    Maybe 5.5 could be stable.

    FWIW, there is a new bios (vers. 1605) on Asus's website for the C5F.
    I'd hope it would offer a little better support for the 8350 than that old beta...

    I'm really temped to go ahead and order from Newegg tonight, but I'm going to hold out till tomorrow and see if
    my local Microcenter has them (even though I would have to pay tax)...

    I'm close to buying it, just to have something new to play with.

    Updated latest bios last night and boot time and some benchmarks improved. Not sure why though.
