BATTLEFIELD 3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS -

Battlefield 3 is powered by the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which is based on the previous Frostbite 1.5, which powered Bad Company 2. The new engine brings a lot of visual improvements and a lot of optimizations as well. However, please note that Battlefield 3 won’t support DirecX 9, meaning it won’t run on Windows XP.

Where's that driver from? I found 285.62 beta on Nvidia's site. http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...glish-whql.exe

This is the recommended driver for Battlefield 3. It contains several performance and compatibility enhancements for the final release of the game.

Weird that is says 15GB for Disk and 10GB for download. My download was 15.3GB ?

Anyone know what time this releases ( time zone wise )

I'll be interested to compare DX10 and 11 performance wise if possible. So far my experience with tessellation has been underwhelming and few games run better using a DX11 renderer ( WoW being an example )

If you try to start the game it'll run a time check and it will fail if it isn't time yet. Also, when it fails it will tell you the time it unlocks. It told me 2am and I'm in the central time zone.

So... I was making the XtremeSystems (or should it be Xtreme Systems?) platoon's emblem and I couldn't decide on what I liked more. Which of these two is best? or should I ditch them both? I used the colors from the forum and the difference on the 2nd one is that I tried to recreate that thing on the logo up top. Does it look silly?

Edit: I've fixed the 'fangs' and some alignment issues but it isn't reflected in the images above.

I tried on the 2nd one to make the gauge. When you make these you don't use photoshop.. you have to use the images they give you on Battlelog. With those images you can flip, turn, and change their color.

Edit: Also they don't give you letters to use. I can try to make an XS mark somewhere by piecing some stuff together but I'm already using a lot of layers. lol

Ah ok I see now, the gauge is the knife.
Well, it's original but it doesn't really look like related to XS.
But that's just me, perhaps the rest of the people like it

So they won't even let us have our own emblem.
That's so lame of EA.

I wish the community had showed the finger to these assh*les rather than give them more money.
