Question Anybody interested in modded Quadro 285.58 drivers for GeForce cards?

Title says it all, majority vote wins. Score vs modded 280.47s in 3DM11 are up a bit, 4533 > 4613, haven't tested anything else.

Why not just post them and let people test performance themselves?

Because of the hassle of waiting for 200MB or so to upload to a filehoast.

I would simply upload the inf, but often I rip aspects out from other drivers and add them into the modded driver such as updated 3D vision, audio, USB and PhysX drivers. I also don't want to answer a thousand questions all asking "where do I put..*insert remainder of question here*" because people won't read the thread.

Ket, is there a way to get nview working with these drivers? that'd be the main reason I download them
I've got a thinkpad with a quadro gpu in it, and god I'd love to have nview on my desktop as well. (GTX580)

I can't test that stuff, but nview might simply work as long as the correct graphics card IDs are in the INF file as Quadro drivers come with the nview files anyway.

Yeah I tried just modding the inf files, nview still won't show up infortunately

EDIT: Okay, I got Nview working with my GTX580 on the 285.58 Drivers. Here it is for anyone interested, you'll have to modify the drivers if you aren't using a 580

I'll look at that INF, I doubt anyone can "break" anything. Worst case scenario the software won't install or something llike that.

I'm putting a system together in the very near future and i love to be able to mod a Geforce card. Please keep this up, its a great resource to have for those of us who don't have a ton of cash to buy a couple of grands quadro cards. Thanks again.

Yep, I'll probably wait for the next Quadro set in hopes their better than the 285.58s.

I am actually using a set of these from Tweakforce, no complaints yet. The IQ and performance all seem quite good. They work well for BF3 and most other releases that I have tested for so far. :-)

I'm just waiting to see what NV do regards a lot of cards not liking the speed at which clock frequencies change with the 285 drivers. A possible workaround would be for people to set GPU voltage at 1.025v for 2D & Blueray, and 1.1v (or whatever) for 3D. The issue with all the driver recoveries seems to be the hardware not liking the speed at which the driver switches between 0.9v > 1.025v and any other voltage tables that might be present.

How much of fps difference do we get in real life gaming if we use the Quadro drivers instead of normal Forceware?

Quadro drivers are geared toward absolute best IQ and AA, not absolute FPS. However, FPS impacts vs. Forceware are minimal and users tend to experience fewer problems with Quadro drivers.

Hmm ok, you mean image quality will look better and there would be no losses in FPS? I believe gamers would need the FPS at all times but having better IQ/AA is definitely an extra :d

Uhh..no. As I said, FPS impact with Quadro drivers will be minimal (read: FPS will take a small hit) but on the flipside the drivers are aimed at providing absolute best IQ and AA while users also seem to have less problems with Quadro drivers over Forceware.
