Water blocks and Stickers

I'm picking up a new XSPC water block for my GTX590 and I was thinking of going over the aluminum finish with a Carbon-Fiber Sticker to make it black/Carbon Fiber..

I was wondering if having a sticker over the Aluminum of the water block would hurt its performance and ability to dissipate heat passively? Or would it have no effect on numbers at all?

The ALU on the waterblock is pure bling...

Very little heat transfer is done though the block.

The water is what is holding the heat and moving it from your block to your radiator.

I recall seeing an aftermarket heatsink that you could put on waterblocks... nobody had measurable cooling benefit.

Aluminum???...Don't think so, the cover is actually Stainless steel and it's fully functional.

It's fine to put stickers on the cover and I've heard that Carbon Fiber stickers are actually good for a 5˚C drop and blue stickers are good for a 3˚C drop while red actually raises temps by 2˚C.
