Nice to see a little love for the 4000 series, although I would like to see it for BF3.

Does this even differ from the first 11.10 in terms of BF3? Or did the just slap the BF3 preview and Rage optimized driver together?

Just installed the Version 1 drivers and only noticed a 5-7% fps improvement but not any bug fixes from 11.7 for BF3.

Can someone confirm the flickering color to see if they fixed it? I doubt there'll be any performance improvement from version 1 to 2 for BF3.

i install it right now and will see what happens ..

@Excib, you should watch what happend with your system, instant bsod is really not normal but it's not due to the driver.

Edit: Perfect drivers, it fix all the problem in BF3+CFX... no more vegetation textures problem on the extern, and the game is perfectly smooth on my system. the game is now a real dream to play.

    Good Job Catalyst team

For Rage ... well i wait John C release his fingers from his a... and start to optimise it for play it...

no, it's the driver, or something that installs with the driver. every other catalyst version, no problem, any game, works fine, no matter the time I play them. soon as I install the preview, login to windows, and I can almost count to 10, and about the time you get to 10, BSOD. Go back to 11.8, and no issues once again.

just figured it out, it's a mix of the driver as well as afterburner. AMD changed the drivers a bit, and after restarting a few times today in 11.8, the screen would flicker slightly right before afterburner kicked in. Same thing happening right before the bsod in 11.10.

seems AMD changed the overdrive menu a bit in CCC, maybe they changed something under the hood also and afterburner doesn't play nice with it? oh well, solved for now, we'll see if BF3 works later.

It doesn't support OpenGL 4.2, does it? Feels like a downgrade if you're not playing RAGE or BF3 just yet...
