Tri SLi or wait for Keplar?

I have been thinking long and hard on this one. I currently own one GTX 470 and a 1000 watt silverstone power supply so Tri SLi'ing them wont be a problem. But my question is, should i add two more GTX 470's to my system? right now i wouldn't be able to use them because I only have one PCI-e port in my current computer. But I am going to pull the trigger on SB-E in november and place those three cards in that setup. OR should i wait untill Q1 of 2012 of the rumored release date of keplar? the main problem is price though, while i can get two more 470's for ~400 bucks while i have no idea how much keplar is going to be. secondly, my power supply can support Tri SLi but only uses the 6 pin connectors. I only have one 8 pin connector so i wouldnt be able to SLi anything like a 480, 580 etc.

So what do you guys think? I wont be able to use the three 470's until SB-E so should I just wait? Or will the price to performance be a wiser decision to stick with 3 470's?

I think you'd better wait to see what Keplar can do and it's price

Wait to decide until you have a motherboard capable of TRI SLi, and what resolution are you playing on? TRI SLI can be severely cpu bound, so you would need a hefty overclock on your processor. I'd rather have a single powerful gpu vs 3 in SLI, and you should wait till kepler

You can always play the waiting game for the next best thing, but if I were you I would just get one more 470, to match your other one and I will bet you would be more than satisfied...

I will be playing at 1920x1200. i guess it would be smarter too; to just wait for keplar because im going to wait to use them anyways

And about the heat issue, i know they run pretty darn hot when the go in SLi. That was one reason why i am also going to watercool the SB-E setup i have in mind. so i dont think heat will be a big problem... well.. that is if i have enough rad

I'm selling my 470's for $160 each, and probably similar price is what you'll get it for, the only down side is, you'd have 2-3 gpu's working on 1.25gb which is not the bare minimum any more even for 1920x1200. So I think you should actually hold on to that card and make it work till kepler comes out and then decide anything.
