I've seen posts before that reference crunching certain projects over others to maximize points. I thought at one point I remember reading that HCC was the best and to crunch only HCC if looking for max points. I don't have a lot of experience and have never tested out the projects to see which workout better pointswise.

    Currently I crunch-

    Drug Search for Leishmaniasis
    Computing for Clean Water
The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2
Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2
    Help Fight Childhood Cancer
    Help Conquer Cancer
Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2
    FightAIDS@Home

My primary purpose for crunching is more to try and help out these causes so I probably will continue crunching them all, but I was curious if one of the more anyone could chime in with any info on what projects to crunch or not crunch in the search for max points, thought it might be of help for those who are looking for points and are not as familiar with the individual projects.

Oj101 did a thread on your question earlier this year. I haven't really seen any other info regarding what performs the best. In my experience, CCW provided the least amount of points when I was crunching it. HCC is consistent in terms of PPD. I'm only running CEP2 and DSL since I am trying to get badges. Prior to DSL, I was running HCC with CEP2. Once DSL gets 2 years, I am going back to HCC or HFCC.

Even better... Pirogue made a program that can give you stats for all your machines or projects.

The Free-DC stats on hosts doesn't seem to work.

Yep, it disappeared for me as well. Not sure what happened as I didn't change any settings.

Free-DC gives more host details but is not the most reliable so I have now added links to Boincstats Have not tested them all, so please post if there is a bad one.

updated and added a few host. Added my top host, #2 single socket (long behind fallwind's best.) Added my stock Xeon E3-1230 which will never do better than 4,500 - 4750 RAC, but is a good comparison to see what a cheapo $200 SB E3 will do. Tried to update a few OC profiles, but that's a daunting task that needs to be tackled in small parts

I'm trn-XS btw, and alot of my host are intel-000's (thoes are Zero's.)
