    MoBoard Switch with RAID setup

Hey guys, Im about to swap out a 780 (striker II formula) with a 790 (striker II extreme). Vista is installed on a RAID 0 and I have a second RAID 0 setup for data.

I was planning on removing all drivers, swapping the boards, and re-installing. Will this work? Thanks.

Make sure you back everything up 1st (make sure its a good backup) - then make sure you have the raid set up correctly in the new board bios and boot up. Once in windows check what version of drivers or any flagged uninstalls you have in device manager and resolve as needed. With a little luck, should be an easy transition.

i agree steve-o. if you have acronis with the plus pack you can also slipstream in drivers when you reinstall a backup

Back up is a def. The boards both have the same SB and run off the same drivers so I dont foresee an issue, however never attempted.
