There is already a topic for the maximus extreme.
gives for the P67 / Z68 and Gen.
did not have to open another topic.

2s is good, and at other benchmark there is also much difference?

A other thing is that am getting lower cpu temps and am amazed how good the gpu is on the 2600k! I didnt see a thread for the Extreme-Z only for Asus Z68 boards!

    nice timings

2 seconds could be attributed to a fresh os install though. I see in your pics they are different, with the extreme having crysis and other unknown software installed. that will alone will bring enough variables like data placement on the drive (unless youa re using a ssd) into play that could mess with your score. im not knocking your results or anything nor am i saying that you are right or wrong, im just pointing out that its not imperical evidence of the z being faster.

also lower cpu temps could be attributed to a better mount. there is alot of testing and re-testing and re-testing that should be done to compare the two before drawing any conclusions.
