    Heatink choice?

I am moving back to AMD in preparation for Bulldozer since I am bored with SB and wonder what is the best heatsink to get? I dont want something massive since I may have to get 16GB of RAM and will fill up all slots. Ive looked around and come up with 4 I think would work well. I am hoping to push BD to as high as I can so I want some very nice cooling within my limits of system use. So are these any good?

    Thermaltake Frio:

cheap-ish and looks like it has good cooling potential. Also would leave enough room for everything I think

    Thermaltake Frio OCK:

A bit bigger. Would this be too big to use all RAM slots? I would probably want this over the regular since it would have better cooling potential, but I cant cover RAM slots

    Corsair H80:

Obviously would leave enough room for RAM. But is the cost justified in the cooling ability? Also heard they can be noisy?

and finally an odd addition. The Cooler Master V10:

Which is huge and covers the RAM slots. But I think my RAM will fit under it and the extra cooling for the RAM would be really nice. But it is really expensive. Is the cooling even any good with this one? This says it is designed to dissipate 200w, whereas the Frio OCK says it is designed to dissipate 240w. So Im guessing this probably sucks?

I'd go with a Thermalright Archon. It should outperform all of those and not block any of the DIMM slots. It's taller (170mm) than the Frio though, so make sure your case is wide enough to fit it.

I'd pick something from Thermalright. It seems from my experience the quality of the heatsinks they produce are a tad higher than others, but you pay for that quality.

Out of the ones you selected however, I'd use the corsair H80. I've heard many good reviews from that heatsink line (Haven't got to play with any myself, would LOVE to ).

I think it will just barely fit in my case, but with no side panel fan. Thanks for recommending it.

Does it come with clips for a second fan? Id like to use two fans with it for better cooling. Im thinking a Slip Stream Kaze Maru2 140mm?

The Frio isn't bad at all but the problem is that its installation method leaves a lot to be desired. The Archon is good if memory compatibility is your main concern. If you haven't bought the memory kit yet, might I suggest getting low profile modules and buy something like the Thermalright Silver Arrow.

Thanks, I already bought the memory though. Does anyone even make high performance low-profile modules? Something like 1866+ in speed with somewhat tight timings?
