    Which RAM to get?

So Im already tired of my Sandy Bridge. Its too easy to OC and doesnt have a ton of options. I am moving to AMD in preperation for BD with the hope that I can tweak a lot more. Getting a Crosshair V Formula MB. Anyway, Ive narrowed it down to two RAM kits, and dont know what to get. On the one hand, the GSkill has Hynix BFR chips and those overclock relatively well which would be fun, but they dont run at 1866 which is the stock speed that BD supports. Then there is the Mushkin, which I have always had great luck wih and runs at the BD stock speed, but because it is 1.5v I doubt it uses the BFR chips which means OC potential wont be a lot. Also the Mushkin is quite a bit cheaper.
But is is guaranteed higher performance at stock... So which do you all think for an AMD platform?

Or maybe I should get these instead:

I think this time I will just be sticking with a single kit of 8GB rather than going to 16GB. I can keep my current rig in another room running Minecraft servers on its big amount of memory so I wont need a lot on this one.
    Rig 1:
    ASUS P8Z77-V
    Intel i5 3570K @ 4.75GHz
    16GB of Team Xtreme DDR-2666 RAM (11-13-13-35-2T)
    Nvidia GTX 670 4GB SLI

    Rig 2:
    Asus Sabertooth 990FX
    AMD FX-8350 @ 5.6GHz
    16GB of Mushkin DDR-1866 RAM (8-9-8-26-1T)
AMD 6950 with 6970 bios flash

Yamakasi Catleap 2B overclocked to 120Hz refresh rate
    Audio-GD FUN DAC unit w/ AD797BRZ opamps
Sennheiser PC350 headset w/ hero mod

I do not know if you already decided, but I am a Mushkin fan myself; especially since they are made in Colorado.

1.5v or not; the redlines should do quite well, maybe see if you can find any reviews on it. I also like the look better. Either kit will probably do you well. Not sure the 2133 kit is worth the additional cost. also is BD going to support 1.65v ram?

I have not kept up with ram and as of late have been going with 1600 with whatever kit is cheapest/best sale at the time

Thanks for the reply. I dont really know if BD will support 1.65v, I hope it does. If not I am betting with some additional voltage to the memory controller that voltage could be bumped to the ram as well. Same way as with SB. I did go ahead and get the Mushkin, the cheaper stuff running at 1866. It seemed a good compromise between my two top choices and was much cheaper as well. I talked to Mushkin and got some info on them and these chips should have a good bit of OC room, as all Redline is designed to have. I was even told I could safely bump the voltage up without worrying about degradation. I am a big fan of Mushkin as well, both from the superb quality of all their products I have used and them being an American company. I like to try and support local businesses when I can.

But that is a good point about the initial memory support for BD. If it happen to only accept 1.5v memory then I will be safe there with this RAM too.
