not an especially useful guide. there was a way bigger one, with actual tweaks, but most of those are no-brainer anyway.
Like, MSAA costs a lot of performance! Who'd-a thunk it???

EA run dice.
its obvious from design to the way aim works.
console design, its a joke to play.
I asked for a refund.
I played every battlefield since Bf1942 and I am so annoyed over the game and how ty they made it.
they should be ashamed as they get their money from noobs.

as far as i know, these changes haven't propagated to the consoles. they're balancing them separately.

This is kinda old news but I didn't see it commented anywere on here, and IMO it's kind of a big deal that pisses me off as much as the original EA EULA did, if not more.

anyone else getting bored of this game? i only have like 80 hours into it and I'm finding it hard to keep my attention... better graphics and destructible environment doesn't make for a better game. I easily got 300 hours into BF2, Global Agenda, TF2, and about 270 into BF2142. however with bf3 i am getting bored and disinterested... the vehicles aren't very fun, the weapons are lackluster, the upgrades are boring... bf2142 was much better as you could actually build your class... every 4 man squad has the same 4 upgrades. boring!

I am done with the game as I don't really like it or it doesnt keep me engaged is a better way to put it. Going up in the For Sale section if anyone wants to grab it.

Hell...me too. I reached and passed 900 hours on Bad Company 2 in less than 9 months. BF3 pissed me off with their tactical lights and thermal optics. This isn' Bad Company 3, it's even worse...nearer to COD.

BF2 is a much better game. They should have stuck to the same formula but just updated the graphics. Either BF3 wasn't well thought-out to begin with, or they purposely made it for 12 year old kids who have attention deficit disorder (or for adults with less than or equal mental capacity).

Bought it, have not installed it yet. Is it modable? Mods always saved my other games. POE2 mod for BF2 was fantastic.

Yea I'm bored of the current maps, but tbh I didnt like 90% of the shipped maps to begin with. Even if most have a pretty good size to them, the design just make them feel way too cramped. BFBC2 even had better maps if you ask me.
Waiting for the updated BF2 maps atm, hope they keep it simple and dont change them far too much from the original versions.

I am getting a bit bored with this game to, but I haven't played that much, closer to 30 hours.
But I am not getting bored because of the game, but the players... There is generally no resistance, most players are terrible.
And I have been out of the FPS online gaming for years, only a little TF2 and the occasional SP has been played, the rest has been SC2.

Tactical light is VERY annoying, but just shoot into the light, rarely get killed by them :S It's very amusing with those idiots who play recon and "hide" with the light on though ^^
Thermal optics, meh, F2000 + iron sight is all good. I find scopes a bit annoying even though they help immensely on distances.

Battlefield games are always at its best when playing in a clan, or at a minimum with a couple of friends in a group.

So my advise would be to fin d a suitable clan. It doesn't have to be anything serious, there are many clans that are really chill, and are more about the fun aspect than super competitive gaming Brings BF games to a whole new level.
