CS:S makes router prefer wired priority?

...after installing DD-WRT to my WRT54G2, I noticed something rather peculiar.

Any time I am gaming, be it Counter-Strike: Source, TF2, L4D2, Killing Floor...

If I start gaming, my wireless connection slows to a halt. My brother's iPod gets 410ms/0.01/0.02 to speedtest.net...if I simply ALT+TAB from the game and make it a backround process he gets 31ms/8.8/.87 on our 10 down 1 up line.

CS:S does not use the full 10 Mbps, what gives? If I game, nobody else in my house can use the internet...

Try our tomato firmware instead it has better QoS and visualizations for troubleshooting this sort of thing.

Tomato is incompatible?...

The stock VxWorks firmware hasnt been updated in two years, makes my games lag out when people are using wireless heavily, and DD-WRT is the other way around, only worse for the wireless
