Nvidia Quadro 6000

I'm looking for a bios for this card.

Searched for about an hour today, no luck. If someone has the bios or actual card can they dump the bios and post it up for me

i forsee a 580 transforming into quadro. ive read about doing it somewhere and there is an instructional with drivers and how to modify the bios. i will see if i can find it.

It's called SoftQuadro.

You forsee wrong, the lastest Quadro 6000 is based on G100 arch. That said it's based on 480. The issue is the Quadro 6000 has 6gigs of ram. I wanted to poke around and see if I could change the "density" of the quadro bios to work with a 480.

I have had sucess with 4000 ( aka 460) and 5000 ( aka 470 ).

6000 could be tricker though.

Nvidia I don't think will go along with it

Hp might be my best bet, but they don't have the bios up yet. That was my source for 4000 and 5000 series bios's.

How much success? I played around with the soft modding of 8800gts/x for a while, and though each would report as a quadro, they didn't run like a quadro, in-fact on several synthetic tests performance was worse after soft modding...



You may be doing something different, but unless you're testing against a genuine quadro, you might not be getting the results you think you are...
