I have the Asus Maximus IV EX and am wondering should I use the boards Intel raid or the Marvell raid?
which generally is what people use these days for performance and such?
Sitting here waiting for someone to kindly make a reply so I can crack on with the system.
And also, does Marvell refer to raid a virtual disks?

The choice is Intel controller raid or Marvell controller raid. Most people prefer to use the Intel controller as it is usually more stable and faster.
Marvell is a controller on your motherboard that can do raid. Marvell, raid, and virtual disks are 3 different things.
Someone who has that board may what to chime in if I am incorrect but im sure this goes with just about all current intel boards.
