    4 Way Benching with LN2 - First Effort :)

Have been trying to find time to do this for the past month or more - finally managed to lock myself away for 3+ hours today and get my first successful runs completed. Got a fair bit of work to do on the CPU clocks - but was really just focused on the GPU's. Bit of an effort benching 4 way by yourself - but nothing a bit of prep cant help with

Just need 4 points to knock my teammate Dino out of 4th spot, will be my mission for benching 3DM11 next time :P

    Setup:Gigabyte UD9
    Retail 990X
    ST2000C7 Ram
    4*MSI GTX 580 Lightning
    Kingpin F1 Gemini, 3 x Tek 9 6.0 Slims, 1 Tek 9 Fat (Love these pots!!)

I've never used liquid nitrogen but doesn't that frost buildup on the boards of your 580's ruin them

    Nice benching bob,

I've got everything here to attempt a virtually identical setup, just lacking the motivation to prep it all.

Nice run for a first try Quad-SLI is really the only difficult rig to run anymore.

Thanks guys - definitely a good challenge!

Gunslinger you are right, and hour or so to setup and the same to breakdown and dry everything off - takes a bit of time But when it all comes together and works - its all worthwhile

    Thanks

Thought I'd have another blast today, this time focused on Heaven

Definitely a bit harder to manage all those pots on this benchmark - no time whatsoever to rest

Was running a bit low on LN2 (single 30L dewar) so only had a chance for 5 or 6 attempted runs. Will come back and try at 6g plus on the CPU once I get refilled on Fri

Best run before the system had enough was 5270.16, not bad with Global 8th and GTX580 3rd ranked scores

Thanks Timbo - have a 240ltr tank at home now, not sure what sort of response I would get from the wife if they started to multiply

Was down to my last 30ltrs when I started, but refill coming Friday so it should be a busy weekend

Sick rig, great work. Did you run into any CB or CBB?

    Love 4-way!

Every 4-Way result on subzero is great, it's the most hard task in OC

Keep pushing, maybe try Vantage, 03 and Heaven?

    Thanks for the comments guys

No CBB as such, but need to manage temps to make sure there is no corruption on boot (was keeping around -120). Anything above -145 at theses clocks / volts would bug out, so basically trying to maintain temps around -135 to -140 during benching.

Unfortunately managed to kill my board - so currently looking for another 4 way set up - definitely coming back for some more 4 way action asap
