Modified Intel laptop drivers for gaming! (Good FPS!)

Well at the moment I only get about 7-15fps on this game with settings low, and computer running as basic as possible, also use a program called game booster, but is there better ways to run so that my computer doesnt use much background applications?

Download Regcleaner. click the "Startup" tab. Theres more than likely loads of stuff starting with windows that doesn't need to you didn't even know about.

Here is the modded driver for X3100 IGPUs. Its actually just a INF mod, but to save millions of people asking me where to put the one file.. heres the whole package.

- Changed maximum memory allocation from 256/512 to 1GB
- Increased default memory allocation (don't know what to as I dunno what these IGPUs use as default)

Hey there,

I can't get this to install on an Acer 1810TZ (has an x4500) running Win7 x64 -- I get a "driver being installed is not validated for this computer" error. Would like a fix if possible -- I need OpenGL 2.1 support to run Worms Revolution (which just came out), and it should be doable if I could get around this. Ironically it works fine with newer drivers in Ubuntu via Wine, so I know the chipset can handle it.

Nevermind -- I got it to work by doing a "Have disk..." install using the /Drivers folder of your package, and then after I rebooted I was able to run the setup exe. Might want to document that if anybody else has this issue.

My WEI numbers haven't gone up, so I can't tell it's working, but unfortunately, Worms Revolution (which, as far as I can tell, requires OpenGL 2.1, but would otherwise give decent performance on this chipset) still won't render certain necessary objects. How hard is it to fix something like this?

May you please update the link for the v.2.2 download? The Megaupload lawsuit has annoyed me greatly. Am I perhaps misinformed however, is the original download link the latest update also?

Ket, try Dropbox. It's a really handy thing for such purposes. Or Google drive (might not require an application installed).

Do these drivers work for Mobile SB? Or do the mods work if I mod my SB driver the same way?
