    core i7 at 6ghz on water ?

Had to post here as it said i didnt have permission to post in the overclocking part of the forum.

Anyway, a friend of mine said he has his core i7 running stable 24/7 at 6ghz on w/c, is this possible or is he just talking out of his waste hole ?

6ghz is most likely LN2/Cascade range.

Maybe it's one of those dumb comments where they've multiplied the core speed by the number of cores.... see it on Ebay all the time.
