About IBM M5105 cross flash to 9260-8i

I use the Megarec tool finished flash the M5015 to 9260-8i,but the adapter subsystem vendor ID and subsystem device ID could not to be changed,the drivers for windows still displayed M5105. Any one know how to change the ssvid and ssdid? M5105: 1014 and 3b02, 9260-8i:1000 9261.

Would like to know that too, anyway you can update the lsi drivers and choose to show all compatible devices and then the LSI9260-8i from the list. In fact its juts the name that changes, nothing more, the driver is generic for all lsi 9260-8i branded cards and the 9260 itself.

What is the benefit of changing vendor and device ID if you can use the same drivers/firmware anyway?
