My Transcend DDR3-1333 4GB (Hyrix chipset) perform better than the AMD pair
at least the 4GB pair run fine with DDR3-1600 CL9
Hynix chips on the dimms are usually a sign of very high quality. THey used to be called Hyundai if I remember correctly and am not mistaken. Even better then sammys chips

    P.S. : It's Single Side RAM ,
Hmm, wheres the ns ratings on the chips themselves? On older ram it would say -2 for example, now it seems with DDR3 all these numbers and different manufacturers put the ns rating whereever they want. So whats the ns rating on those chips?

Sorry to push up this old thread

I just found out the local dealer have these "new" stuff come in
    http://www.xander.com.hk/product.php...1#page=feature
Another type of AMD Radeon Memory ???

IMHO , the red heatsink kinda cool , I wish they won't charge a lot for that
Probably go grab a pair of 4GB DDR3-1600 "AMD" Memory just for the sake of it

Hope amd release more faster RAM in near future. Trinity with 2000mhz RAM is nice.

Sorry to bump an old thread

The friendly local store just have these AMD Memory in stock
    and I grab a pair of 4GB DDR3-1600 (CL9-9-9-28 , 1.5V rated in SPD )

The memory was made by Patriot , I have no clue what kind of chip is that but it doesn't clock well
Pushing tight CL won't even boot with my TA870 (DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-28 no POST , CL8-9-8 does boot up at BIOS but can't enter Windows 7, only showing a BSoD )

I guess if you want a good memory to overclock with , these pair wasn't a good choice
however the price is a bargain , so I guess I just drop them in with my APU ITX rig (as I don't need any overclocking)

    The 4GB DDR3-1600 itself cost $160 HKD (~20 USD)

If they do 1600 9-9-9 for $20 USD, I think they are a good deal...
