    11.8 Driver Preview

    To whom it may concern.

Fixed a long running VSYNC problem for me, with certain directx 9 games and 2X5770's crossfire.

I went ahead and installed these right over the 11.6 with no adverse problems so far. Opted for these over the 11.7 since I figure these should be newer.

Installs over 11.7b no problems. Can't really see any improvements for my 5870 though, not even through MLAA.

Don't see any FPS increase for Crysis 2 DX11 at all.

What I noticed it that sometimes I cant even get CCC to reopen when im tinkering around in and out of games. 11.7s WHQL didnt have this glitch.

Plus it enables overdrive by default, which is finicky with other oc proggys like after burner.
Stick with the 11.7s your not missing out on anything, I reverted to them. This is assuming you dont NEED this 11.8 driver like the OP.
In other cases, if your not having issues with 11.7s then wait for official 11.8s.

The word beta to AMD is now preview....

No problem with 6870 crossfire and 11.8. Seems to be an improvement!
