This is a mighty fine application.

Thanks and good luck developing it further.

PS - I'd post the scores of the three I've got here, but when I try to upload the pictures, they're not recognised as valid image files. Oh well, too bad

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll try it from a Google album url first. lol, no use in making another account somewhere I'd hardly ever use

Hmm,... not ideal, but it'll have to do. The first link is to the album. The other 3 are the individual ones.

Interesting first post after registering in 2008..lol

ATTO tests with compressible data which the SandForce controller in our 520's love. SF doesn't fair as well with the incompressible data used in your Anvil test run. You can also set Anvil to use compressible data as well if you want to. I use the 46% 'Application' setting when I bench to make sure all is well. I wouldn't know how to act with 6x 520's and nice raid card...lol

To put it simply, it works more or less like the TRIM function found in Intel SSD Toolbox.

However, unlike the Intel Toolbox it can be used on all drives, it won't work on all drives though!

It won't work unless TRIM is working on the drive.
It won't work if the drive does not respond to the "normal" way of triggering TRIM.

    It works in just seconds.
The time it takes for the drive to do the actual cleaning varies between drives. (from seconds and up...)

Here's an example of before and after TRIMming my Endurance drive.

    Before
    Attachment 126900

    After
    Attachment 126901
Hi Anvil, thanks for this great program!

Does the Trim trigger work in Windows XP? I was hoping to use it as a 3rd party manual trim for my SSD which is running on XP since XP does not support Trim.
