Best SATA SSD for performance/endurance

Hi there,

The system drive on my workstation is comprised of four 480GB Intel DC S3500 SSD's in RAID0 on an Areca ARC-1882ix-24 (with 10% unpartitioned spare area, and daily backups). I'm running out of space and want to upgrade, to at least double the size. I know Intel isn't at the forefront of SSD performance anymore, but I'd rather stick with the brand as my previous Samsung 840 Pro SSD's had timeout issues.

According to Wikipedia the D3-S4610 ("Youngsville Refresh") is Intel's latest SATA SSD. Any thoughts on this drive? Will they outperform my existing DC S3500's?

Intel leads in drive performance with the Optanes, all else is NVMe.

Second choice? Look at Phison E18. Companies like Sabrent build the most aggressive E18

Thanks! I'm specifically looking for SATA SSD's. I know these are old now; I'm OK with that. Don't need bleeding edge, just want to make sure the higher capacity drives will deliver equal or (hopefully) better performance and ensure I don't overlook better SATA options.
