    I'm a bit of a noob with overclocking, trying to learn though.... these forums look pretty sweet.

    Am I missing something but did you literelly OC to 2x the stock core speed of that 580?

    yes sir

    I used liquid nitrogen to cool my graphics card, Temperatures were @ -180C

    Setup is very similar to this(gpu is MSI lightning 580 and not the asus on the picture)

    My god, I should have known LN was involved. Well someone with the knowledge and balls to play with that stuff deserves the results you have achieved no doubt. One question I must bother you with is what was/is your voltages like, do you have to feed a lot more or are stock voltages ok since youre cooling it so much, it should be measured in K haha.

    Edit, now I see Splave with a 980X @ 6.6ghz. You guys don't mess around do you? Wow.

    @splave yes sir

    @rygu
    we could also use kelvin, but the overclocking community has been using centigrade and it makes it easier for joe to understand as well.

    as for voltage we do go above and beyond the maximum voltages to push the silicon further.

    enjoy the forums
