據台灣主機板業指出， AMD 下代 AM3+ 處理器經過多次的修正後將會於 8 月初正式量產，預計將會 9 月正式發佈，初上市將會推出四款不同型號，包括四核心 FX-4100 、六核心 AMD FX-6100 、八核心 FX8-100 及 FX-8150 。

採用 32nm SOI 制程，原定於今年 Computex 發佈、代號「 Zambezi 」的全新 Bolldozer 微架構處理器，採用全新 AM3+ 處理器封裝，，由於部份設計需作出修改而延期，最終落實於 8 月初正式量產，預計將會 9 月 19 日正式發佈，這是 AMD 自 2003 年 Athlon 64 處理器後首次針對微架構作出重新設計。
