Coolermaster Cosmos II actual pre-production model photos leaked

This is a pre production mockup which means there might be slight changes to the final product. It is said to be released around October (at least in Greece), at a competitive price tag.

I'll wait for word on pricing to commit to saying anything, but at this point it looks like a decent case. That fan snap over the second hard drive area will surely get them some business among enthusiasts who feel the need to cool drives.

I'm a little confused about the apparently lack of a side fan or place where one could put a side fan, but maybe that's coming in the final design. #1 spot for trapped hot air.

If you'll notice the left side panel has vents up towards the middle, meaning there will likely be space/attachment for a fan behind there. Not too crazy about the front panel design though. The curved side panels look like they've made room behind the motherboard tray to run wires, that was a huge problem with the original Cosmos. Should also have a straight style front door like the original model for cleaner lines. Plastics, meh.

Is there a removable Motherboard tray? i cant tell from the pics. That was the only real gripe i have about the original Cosmos S design. Also, nice to see Tri SLI support

Nope, does not look like it and thats the main reason I like the ATCS over the older Cosmos. That siad, this looks like it will hold a 3x120 and a 2x120 without modding.

Looks pretty nice, always been a fan of Coolermaster, they are usually my #1 choice for cases. Would like to see the side panel, hopefully it will have vents because I don't think the previous Cosmos did.

    My main grips

    - No window
    - Ugly looking front USB headers and front audio, Cover them up cooler master or better yet, Get rid of them altogether! Not needed by 90% of gamers.
    - Hot swap drive bays, Nice for people that need them but are they REALLY needed for PC gamers? Seems to me like all they'll do is add to the cost.
    - 5.25" bays look good but need the fast fit buttons all the way down, There's only 3 and it look a bit silly with nothing else below them, continuing them all the way down would improve it a lot looks wise.

Oh no, if the hot swap drive bays are there, top and bottom, that would kick ass.

At first, i liked it because ive always liked the Stacker and Cosmo series, but then i saw that the 5.25" bays were exposedl; i thought ew. then i noticed the shield that slides up and down to cover it.

man this is a nice case. id choose this or a corsair 800d.

dammit, i haven't even finished my Cosmos 1 build... I'm so slow lol.

a nice all around case from the looks of it, but the price feels prohibitive to me.

Is it just me or there is a heap ton of plastic instead of aluminium?
Other than that, it does look really nice. Having 10 expansion slots is great!

Looks nice, but probably too big for my desk. Also too expensive...... Still it looks like a nice case.... but for 320 it better have a sliding motherboard tray. I don't understand why they will have the sides swing open like doors, but they won't include an equally quaint motherboard option in a 320 dollar case. Seems anticlimactic to focus on quaint over useful. Doors are quaint. Sliding trays are useful.

Pffft, I guess if you only need one hard drive mount it'd work. Someone needs to make a REAL case for those of us still using 56" inch drives.

so far it looks like you can fit a 360 AND a 240 rad WITHOUT modding and loosing all your HDD trays. if so consider me instantly sold. also vented side and possibly stealthed sidepanels fans and a major plus. I loved my 700D but modding it for a 240 RAD was a pain and the thing is overall starved for airflow overall. this looks to be the answer to my wildest dreams.

Still prefer the Lian-Li PC-V2120, as they are in a league of their own. Don't like all this plastic on this case, and the design is yuck and anything but elegant. Only CM case I like is the CM 690 II Advanced for it's ability to pack so many features into such a small package. Pass on this one.
