im currently running the EK Supreme HF under test atm with plate still fitted. Wont have full results back until it has been running at least 1 week and the block has been checked for any sign of build up. This has to be tested on a low flow pump then a high flow pump. It needs to pass both test to Get a full pass from me.

We all so have the Koolance CPU-370 which needs to go into test as well how ever all hardware is taken up atm so it will have to wait till one of the systems is freed up.

With limited hardware there is only so much we can test in one go and this will take time. How ever by testing all these blocks we can give you a good idea what it works with and what it doesn't.

I am all so to looking into a 20nm to 60nm size pearl to cover the impingement blocks how ever because of the smaller size the effect will not be as striking as the high flow blocks can achieve.

might as well edit this one ... hehe

Taken Blue and Red pearl down to 5-40. These are now being tested on the koolance and the Heatkiller water cooling blocks.

Silver has a 6 week lead time so we can see how it goes from there. Looking at doing 2 versions though 1 for impingement block and 1 of none impingement blocks.

The one for impingement blocks has less of a drastic effect.
The one for None impingement blocks is more in your face.

again both are coated how ever the impingement version will need more pearl to show the effect.

All so been testing out tubing and 1/2" tubing effect is 100% better looking than 3/8 or 7/16 so if you wanting to see it in the tubes then id really consider going to 1/2" if your ID is smaller.

Again still the best effect is tub res.

Testing of the new 20nm to 60nm liquids going relay well in the Impingement blocks.

So far the Koolance CPU-370 has not blocked nor has the EK Supreme HF or Watercool Heat killer. This is good news all round. Still got to keep them under testing though how ever i think this will have the impingement devices cracked . Were going to start moving up a gear now .... Ill start a new post soon all about the liquids and full test results of all the blocks we have tested.

ive got 2 x FC5 and 2x FC3 they all seem to be oky how every both my FC5s / FC3s have been having problems lately (losing LCD, fans all ways on ect). This is with fans only, when i have the pumps on they they seem to work fine. Ive heard from some one testing the FC9 that it can handle 2 pumps how ever i personally do not know.

Sorry haven't tested that one. I think we have a broad enough range of blocks above to give you a indication across a broad spectrum of products to let you have informed information of what will and what wont work.

On another note weve been asked via a second party for intel if our pearl will work on 3M products. So tonight i set about testing it and found it does.

Longer term testing is needed how ever on the NOVAC 649 with has less mass than water and less viscosity than water .. well ill let the picture do the talking ...

    Mayhem’s Aurora

    Recommended Equipment

    3/8” Tubing clear or above
    Tube or Drive bay reservoir
    GPU water block
    CPU none restrictive water block
Any pump above 399 Ltrs Per Hour
Change out liquids every 6 months

*** Do not use Reservoir with pre inbuilt pump. ***

    Mayhem’s Aurora +

    Recommended Equipment

    ½” Tubing clear
    Tube or Drive bay reservoir
    GPU water block
    CPU water block
Any pump above 399 Ltrs Per Hour
Change out liquids every 6 months

*** Do not use Reservoir with pre inbuilt pump. ***

All though every effort has been made to test Mayhem’s Aurora rang of fluids we cannot guarantee that the liquid will work in every system. We have tested a wide range of equipment and found that 95% of it works perfectly well with no adverse effects. However we cannot cater for every single setup out there. Aurora and Aurora + is for users who have a clear understanding of water cooling a pc and its iatrical components.

The difference between using normal plain water and Aurora and Aurora + is about 2c to 3c+ increase in temperature. This is very much dependant on your how your own system is set up.

We have found that Mayhem’s Aurora and Mayhem’s Aurora + has had no adverse effect on plated water blocks however normal wear and tear is still taken into account when using our fluids. If a water block has any damage to it on the plating our fluids may escalate this problem however we have not seen this in our testing.

Mayhem’s Aurora and Mayhem’s Aurora + contain no glycols and are based on environmentally friendly vegetable extract. Our testing range has been from 10c to 85c. We do not recommend using Mayhems Aurora or Mayhem’s Aurora + on systems were the temperature of the liquids may go over 90c.

Mayhem’s Aurora and Aurora + Contain patent pending technology.
Mayhem’s Aurora and Aurora + Do not contain any metal.
Mayhem’s Aurora and Aurora + Do not need biocide’s or Inhibitors.

Mayhems offer no guarantee with our liquids and are used at your own risk.

Mayhem's are now taking pre-orders for Mayhem's Aurora and Mayhem's Aurora + from re-sellers only.

ETA for Mayhems is Nov 2011.

To stop confusion as ive have been asked a few times now

Definitive guide for pumps to use with this liquid -

any reservoirs were the pump is actually fully submersed is not a good idea. the reason for this is the Pearl gets sucked into the vents of the pump and doesn't get pulled back out. What you will see for the first day or so is some excellent effects but then quickly the pearl literally disappears. When you then flush each part of the system you see the pearl coming out of the side of the pumps inside the reservoir.

So under test these pumps are all fine ->

    Laing DDC-1T Pro Pump 440 L/hr 10W (MCP350) : DDC-1T
    Laing DDC-1+ Ultra Pump 600 L/hr 18W (MCP355) : DDC-1+ T

What will not work and are not recommended for use with these fluids

Any pump that is submerged directly in a reservoir or liquid were it needs water to cool the pump directly for long term use. All so any pump that is blow 400 Ltrs Per hour and has a very low over head pressure.
