    why are you guys saying msi killed the cpu? water shorted the dmos. proper insulation would have prevented this.

    How do you know it was water? This type of thing happens all the time on air too.

    Lol, you have your eyes and ears everywhere, , Only 1, , and only the single 57X I found out of ~50 that I tested. But that was my fault. I didnt dry my setup after using it on LN2, thinking my insulation would hold, stupid me......

    Dunno. Wasn't talking about six-series specifically, I'm just saying that this happens outside of extreme overclocking a lot. GB and MSI have both had issues with it. My first EX58-UD4P's VRMs caught on fire a week or so after I got it, on air.

    Really nice.... sadly my chip doesn't like going over 52 multi even though it is golden (I think) 2500k @ 5GHz 1.352v Prime95 stable, not LinX stable. 1.368v LinX and Prime stable (AVX Linpack on LinX)
