Just saying, I hate it.
I'm ... getting used to it, but I'm not a fan.

It's not new...

Looks like the latest version to me and it's recently been updated from a previous version. How is that not new?

To me, it's updated software, not new software.
Switching to IPB would be new software.

Given that it bears almost nothing in common with the previous software, all the modules and hacks and skins from the old version are incompatible with the new, I would say it's as good as changing software vendors completely. We've just been through the same transition on another forum I'm on. The owner, a seasoned programmer able to code rings around most people, spent days getting everything up and working again that was completely broken in this release.

I am not a fan of it either but I am getting used to it. I may just dislike it because it's different.
Was there a reason for the change? The old software seemed fine to me.

I don't know a thing about this stuff but I reckon Charles bought shares in some sort of opticians chain before moving to this color scheme. It kills my eyes

I prefer the old version better also
Not a complaint, but constructive criticism
It seems to me that since the change there has been a noticeable drop in activity on the forums.

As much as I hate to admit it, if it's nighttime I find myself on Hardforum because it's darker and it doesn't hurt my eyes like this color does. But what bothers me more than the color is that the damn titles are a smaller font than the "Thread started by" , it drives me crazy.

Yep and I'm 29 with 20/16 vision, you don't need glasses; the thread titles need to be fixed. It's really that simple (assuming it's that simple lol)
