hmm windforce result looks like SLi run?

That can't be single card :O. or is 275.33 crazy driver?
Sof lod can only ad 1-5 fps at most, not really huge effect with 580

Did some testing on my P8P67 Deluxe today. Very impressed. 2600k @ cpu speeds, speed step off, ram @ 1866 (7-7-7-18-1T) 8800gt @ stock. Just a boot and run. No tweaks.

yeah must be sli then, thanks for clearing that up

Iirc nature was the only one liking any lod changes at all.

If exchange option in nvidia inspector, point is improved much.

What option in Inspector? That does look like SLI run indeed...

I tested like 4 hours 01 but couldn't find anything that gives such a boost - I could only improve nature a bit

i tested a lot of NV insp today options but nothing change in my case, would be nice to know the new 01 secrets with 580

so with 2600k at 5950 and 1300/2600 we will see +137

20FPS boost at stock speeds on 580 with DH. dont know if its the "tweak" you guys are talking about, but I bet it is.

I dont want to step on any toes... so I will keep quiet "other" than saying that I can confirm it does not affect image quality

P.S._ : i dont want to give away the tweak but if you can let me know if im on the right track

stock 580, 2600K @ 4.6 - DH gives 640FPS w/o tweak. with tweak 660. didnt test further and I did it in windows 7 x64 if you are wondering why the fps is a tad low.

very sneaky oc_windforce. good testing skills for sure. so as it turns out i was wrong and may have stumbled onto something else. will test in xp now and verify.

I found a way to boost nature fps about 60fps

(With one litle change...)
I didnt try other than nature, tough it makes most difference on score anyway.
Is that the tweak when u using default GTX580 card and 4.2GHz gulftow? dont wanna say that i found exactly same tweak when im not sure of it yet

And yes, im using win7 too since this is with mine 24/7 OS.

Edit: Compared SoF's and winforce's scores and it looks like difference in nature is about 60fps too ^^
