I know how you feel but I think I've owned every manufacturer's motherboard except Biostar and MSI so far and all have their little quirks.
My GB X58 UD3R was rock solid crunching for almost 2 years now.
The Asus KGPE-D16 dualie with 2-12 core MC chips is like the Rock of Gibralter BUT when we had a power outage due to an ice storm
I had to clear the cmos to get it back running.
Your always going to find something thats a little funky from just about any board you buy.

I've always beleived that anyone over the age of 25 wearing a baseball cap backwards looked foolish but for that night it seemed appropriate.
Now as to the "mean face" that was Charles doing..He asked for it and got it!
