    Congrats to all the winners, this was about as exciting as an online contest can get. Really fierce competition, especially for Europe/SA.

    @G.foyle lol, me didn't have backup bro, all my scores were uploaded the day i finished. I guess July31 was my lucky day. my first gpu..worked til the last day of submission. these gpus are awesome

    @Gautam sounds like the ncix story, I ordered one from july 8, and it never arrived, they kept saying it shipped...very shady sellers.

    Yes m8, IRIS is one of the hardware reviewers in my office, both he and Coldest(also my benching buddies) teamed up in MOA 2011 Indonesia Qualifier, but ended up in #2 place so they didn't advance to MOA APAC.

    I'm also stunned by his score after he emailed me a couple hours ago, he says that he got quite lucky with the GPU (1615 iirc)

    Some people here might know him, he's the one who won a "Dinner-with-princess-Leia" Prize at MOA 2010, and actually refused the prize LOL

    hahahahha thanks mr.neo!

    The battle was finding the 580LIT here in USA region, I got lucky ewiz.com had one. After I bought it they were out of stock and only the 580XE was only available.

    It was like 12round boxing match. First round was 11k @ 1380 Then many rounds of battling efficiency, cb, tims, pots--- it was fun but @ 12th round

    Sunday July 31, last day! I was all geared just increasing my 1520mhz limit(11734points). 1st I set clocks to 1540mhz/1300 idle -192c, GT1 looks super smooth no

    artifacts load temps -186c, middle of GT1 im back to -189c, gpu is no match against the pot, and smoothly it was all finished, save validation. and system shut

    down. The rest is coldbug frenzy..memory was at stock voltage and pot was full of LN2, so I gave up. I fell asleep on my chair after no sleep for 2days.

    Used only one 580Lightning. Proper insulation helped alot.

    @diezel thanks
    @perica thanks bud

    This is the VGA that IRIS used on his 1615/2630 run, after trying more volts on the GPU to do 1620Mhz(its +575mV iirc),
    One of the mosfets blew up clean off his card
    ** sorry image is blurry, taken with blackberry **

    That vga should be able to pull off some nice points at the bot, now it's history

    EDIT : it currently taken to MSI's local service center, they tried to fix the fets but dunno if the GPU is still alive after that.

    @ honda :

    I dunno, but it seems he don't use heatsink at all during that run.. I also saw many ocer only use monster fans to cool off their naked mosfets during MOA APAC.
    Do you use that 'heatspreader' metal thingy on your run bro?
