Noisy fan on Ultra 1000w X3.

The fan on my Ultra x3 has been extremely noisy of late.

I thinking about swapping the fan out for another quite fan.

But it uses a 135mm fan which i can find ... What can i do? Is there a 3pin plug in the psu?

That could be very tough. Not many people make a 135mm fan, not even FrozenCPU carries any. There's the Zalman ZM-F4, which is a 135mm PWM 3-Pin fan, but only place I've seen it for sale is South Africa and it's made to fit 120mm mounting holes.

Yeah mate i can't afford that.

    I did find a 135mm fan

I opened up the psu and it doesn't take the standard 3pin fan connecter...Its a two pin connector

Could i install the fan in the psu and just run the 3pin off the motherboard?

Two wires? One black and one red! Just splice both cables on both the fan and the PSU, and wire black to black, and red to red. Add some tape to each connection so they don't come into contact with anything else and you're done.

The yellow lead on the fan is just the RPM meter which you won't be using here.

Hmmm, odd that they don't show that or any 135mm fans on their fan index page:
