You need a different signature file if you are talking about not being able to go over 800MHz with CCC. Just download a bunch of HD4850 vBIOSes and open them with RBE and extract the signature file from the vBIOS with the highest limits.

Hmm, 800 is about the limit for 4850s anyway, voltmodded. I'd be more than suprised to see a 4850 do more than 800 without special cooling and upwards of 1.5v. ...so I guess I am XD
I have an ASUS TOP bios I can upload for you, I cant exactly remember how high it goes core wise in CCC but I remember benching my card in the 840 range.

...I also made a modded 4850 bios with a 4870 hash, it will start stock at 4870 speeds and is recognised by 3DMark/Windows, driver etc as a 4870, and goes all the way to XXXX speed in CCC (its been at least a year and a half now, I cant remember

Theres probably some voltage changes you can make with RBE. Doing things via a vBIOS mod realy would be easier than trying to use nasty Windoze software.

    Congrats, an uneducated post.

If you want to mod the bios to do 1.15v, be my guest. Thats all that poor voltage reg will do.
