Fortunately Olympus has addressed those issues. They were using dated (ie, 2007) sensor technology in the E-P series. The 3rd generation has an updated sensor which will greatly improve ISO and DR to acceptable places. Looks like it will be ISO 100-6400 with expand to 12800. Usable up to 3200. That means users will get an extra 3 stops of good ISO performance. In addition the new Olympus cameras in conjunction with their next series of lenses will have lightning fast AF performance.

Wierd that Olympus had such bad AF, cause AF in my G1 was fast and accurate (at least until they screwed it up with 1.3 FW but I think they fixed that laters, though I already sold that cam). New Olympus have AF based on green IR light difference, supposed to be very accurate and very fast. Unless you want to shoot IR.

Just watch the focus videos. Its basically instant. This spells the end to PDAF systems. CAF is now just as fast and more accurate.
