    Best PC-8500 (1066mhz) DDR2 RAM for E8400?

I've looked at OCZ, G.Skill, Kingston etc etc, what's the best in terms of overclocking?

Preferably still available in Australia somewhere, and under $100.

    I would imagine near 1150 at 2.2v...

If you search around a bit you will find better. I recently sold my OCZ Blade LV for $85...the same value I paid including what I paid to ship.

That`s exactly what I`m using with my Deneb but mine only do 540MHz at 2.2V with the spd timings, by 550MHz they start complaining.

See if you can find the first rev of the Cellshock DDR2 ram.

They were one of the best kits for overclocking. 1200 mhz CL4 was no problem with my old set.

    Asus Rampage III Extreme - Intel Core I7 980X - Mushkin Redline 1600 MHz 3*2 gb - Asus GTX580 CU II - Coolermaster Silent Pro 1000 Watt - 2x Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 gb in RAID0

I can't really be bothered ordering online overseas, trying to source locally here in Australia. DDR2 availability is very limited.

Also, I'm looking for a ram set that does not have huge heatsinks (tall), as I have a "side-side" CPU cooler rather than a "top down" one. I bet a huge heatsink would restrict airflow.
