Just a quick update since putting in a discrete video card the bsod has stopped but also means i cant use the 2600k graphics as it causes Bsods all the time what causes this im not sure its either the 2600k or the motherboard.

Considering the IGPU is built into the die of the 2600k.. that should give you your answer I assume you tried the standard updating the UEFI, loading setup defaults and making sure you are using the latest IGPU driver?

    I have tried both these

    UEFI 1.4
    - Modify fot GPT mode

    UEFI 1.4A (BETA)
    - Automatically detect and set memory XMP profile (if your memory supports XMP)

And both drivers off your thread and off asrock site.

Damn thats bad luck On the plus side the new 1.5 UEFI for the Z68 Extreme4 is AWESOME! With the same vcore needed for 4.5GHz with other UEFI versions, I can now run 4.7GHz, maybe higher
