i think its cool to go for a new look, but...
this looks like an off the shelf default skin...
i actually like the color theme more than the original grey in grey, it was getting a bit old and boring... but i dont like how the menues and buttons are shuffled around
i guess this is vbulletin 4.x and old themes dont wory anymore, right?

I don't mind the new look, it just took a while to get use to it.
Now, MOAR M-ITX gaming systems!
Old them looked much better, this just hurts my eyes and isn't so easy to read, I can't imagine that's a good thing for a site if it wants to remain popular...
Terrible look, would prefer to get the old one back.

In terms of color options (like normal and dark at the bottom), what's the overhead to offer multiple versions to people, say 4 or 5?

Hate to sound critiquing on the new appearance and layout of the site but it is really not appealing mostly due to the fact that it is not easy to read and it now looks like most forums and does not stand out like it originally did.
I build websites and know allot about aesthetics and proportioning with design and sorry but this new look is not that appealing and most certainly does not stand out.
Oh brother! I just went to go back to the news section and what is the deal with the site Navigation now? Man I don't care if you don't fix anything else but something has to be done with that like pronto. Allot of new comers will leave and not come back if the navigation is that hard to work. Hell, allot of us wont bother coming back either

honestly i think consistency is key that is why companies like McDonalds do so well, ppl know exactly what they are getting when they show up. I don't think such a dramatic change is due, but hey i don't own the site. Honestly i would have done the transition slower, but if this is the only way it can be then i guess we gotta learn to deal with it. I can't put my finger on what i don't like, maybe its all this 3d borders and boxes and embossed edges, idk what its called.
anyways i do like the effort that the ppl who run this site put into it, it shows you guys did a lot of hard work, and i do enjoys some of the new features!
