XS updates

Same in the LC section. Mark forum read is also busted in the LC section but seems to work fine in the LC worklogs sub forum.

Just an update. This seems to function but not completely. Forum is "marked read" but the drop menu doesn't disappear unless you click somewhere that isn't the menu.


EDIT: New update. Any board with a sub forum does this and only the sub forum is marked. Only upon refresh does the "higher" board mark topic read.

Can't say I like the new look. It's not very good for those with poor eyesight either.

Maybe a competition to create some new themes for XS would be in order.

May i ask for few things to make forum imho more readable / comfortable?
- Make 'thank you' pseido-posts somehow less visible/smaller size/smaller text/or even integrated with post that was thank-ed. When i read thread i always somehow stumble upon those nasties interrupting normal post flow reading.
- In another forum i got used to [off](topic) tags, that automatically grey out and shrink font size of content within, very usuable for cases where one knows that it's offtopic to thread/OP, yet still thinks that it's worth to post it here, or to 'offtopic' less important part of post. Better then using spoiler tags for such cases imho.
- It would be handy, if clicking on poster's name would automatically add it in reply form text bolded and with colon, to easier refer to whom response is meant to. Of course, one can always select/copy/paste/format by himself, but hey - lazyness is stimulus for progress?

I'll just +1 the poor eyesight thing. Having recently lost sight in my right eye, the new theme is more difficult to work with. The old one wasn't that great. However, the content is what keeps me here, not the theme. On that, no complaints.

I love this place as much as the next XS'er, maybe more. But I have to say, the slowness of this site is ridiculous.
