    Started a new game, could not get my char to look cool at all , got the rag muffin look.
    I have yet to update to the latest, but the previous update I found a major prob.

    I goto get my head cut off in the beginning of the game, the dragon is flying about, but never lands, just fly's and the guy with the axe just stands there.
    Even tried the kill console command and resurrecting him, notta.
    I could not get my new game going.
    What it was, it worked fine in windowed mode, but in fullscreen it got stuck there everytime.
    Weird...
    Afterwards I haven't had any probs in fullscreen mode.
    Maybe it was because I created that new game a few days ago, then updated it twiced, afterwards tried to run that new game.
    Who knows, who really cares.

    Some stuff I do with a new game:

    setgs fJumpHeightMin 250
    player.forceav speedmult 125
    psb
    player.additem a 9999
    player.additem f 9999999

    9999 lockpicks.
    9 million in gold.
    Give all spells, shouts etc.
    Increase jump height (250 is to low..., still better then the norm though).
    Increase walking/running speed (doesn't work...)

    A trick I found is you can goto the console, select a door and lock it ith a 99 lv lock.
    Ie, lock 99.
    Unlock, etc etc.
    This way you can practice lock picking on high lv doors.
    In reality, it's probably a waste of time though lv'ing up this way.

    Cool

    @NEOAethyr and for anyone interested in modding your character look. Granted this is for the most part for females, I'll put some male mods I've found during my search that looks as well.

    @NapalmV5, Again love the pics, fyi have you tried a console command "tfc" or "tfc 1" it allow for freecam the "tfc 1" will freecam and freeze the screen. Give it a try and you'll be getting better camera angles for your screen shots. I'll have to try some of those INI tweaks but I feel that doing them at my resolution (5760x1200) that would kill my FPS.

    Note: All mods are from SkyrimNexus site, you will need NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) to install to your Skyrim game. The "Numbered" mod you see are my load orders for the mods I use. Just remember that the last mod that you activate in NMM WILL override any previous mod. Some times if you have two Color Eye Mods for exsample the last one activated will overide the first one.

    Skyrim ingame character I used.
    Race: Imperial (used the first on the character presets)

    HAIR:

    Mod Name: ApachiiSkyHair v1.1 NEW (Updated from 1.0)

    Mod Name: High Res Face Maps for Men
    Description: Just like the name says. Looks very nice thou.
    Download Location: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4141

    Body Mesh Models: The first two in the list are the two main body mods I use. You can only one or the other or you will get map issues. FIY one is "CBBE" and the other is "UNP" becuase of this armors and clothing must be used with it's corresponding file type...exsample: UNP body mesh with UNP based armor or clothing....and so on. That is why I use the two files, I may find a armor that I like and it's designed for "only" CBBE or UNP bodies now you have a chioce.

    1b. Mod Name: Calientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition -CBBE- v3.0
    Description: CBBE based body

    2b. Mod Name: Sporty Sexy Map - Athletic muscle mod CBBE UNP ADEC v1.02
    Description: Makes your char a little more tone.
    Download Location: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13377

    @NapalmV5, here is another useful command for better screenshots. Once in "tfc" or "tfc 1" change your "fov" (field of view) to "fov 20". I think the default fov for skyrim is set at 75, I for one play at around "fov 90" and for those not sure just type "~" "fov" "enter" and it should revert back to default.

    I've been messing with that uGridsToLoad setting you posted and so far so good. I have tested with a new game install and here are my findings.
    So far....

    Skyrim.ini: settings (in bold are changes made or added all other setting untouched)
    [General]
    uExterior Cell Buffer=64
    uGridsToLoad=7

    sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa

    SkyrimPrefs.ini:

    iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=4096
    iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096
    bDrawLandShadows=1
    bTreesReceiveShadows=1
    iSize H=1200
    iSize W=5760

    Setup: see sig.
    Catalyst 12.1 (for now will test with 12.3 soon, NOTE: NO Catalyst Profile installed*)
    CCC Settings:

    Anisotropic Filtering @ 8X
    All other settings at default

    Game:

    With only .INI tweaks and Widescreen Fixer app on a newly updated Skyrim and at 5760x1200 I was able to play at an average of 45fps, I have seen it drop to high 20fps but still plays smooth enough for me. I was worried by setting the uGridsToLoad to 7 will kill me but I am very surprized and the best thing is it look wonderful.

    I have not tried your other settings....

    [General]
    uGridDistantTreeRangeCity=8
    uGridDistantCountCity=8
    uGridDistantTreeRange=30
    uGridDistantCount=50

    [BudgetCaps]
    uLoadedAreaNonActorMemoryBudgetCap=329252864
    uTextureMemoryInterior=209715200
    uTextureMemory=41943040

    NapalmV5, if you see anything I can improve on let me know. Ive also reduced the amount of mods by almost 75% from my earlier list. I'll post them later with my "Load Order" lineup. My main mods are all to make Skyrim look as good as I can...list on the way.

    @NEOAethyr, they must call you SuperRim the man of steel. LOL!!! Hey man as long as your having fun that's all that counts. But damm 9999 lockpicks!!!

    @UrbanSmooth, LOL, I think I've seen some one making Soul Caliber weapons for Skyrim....now that would be cool.

    One last thing.

    Lately I have been having serious frame rate issues whenever I go indoors. I have turned AA & AF down to 2x each and seemed to see "some" improvement but when I first started playing I was running fairly liquid smooth at 1680x1050 with everything maxed out.

    Am I having memory or buffer issues? DO I need to try some different drivers? I turned down AA & AF to 2x each but not much improvement.

    I have checked my GPU and CPU temps and CPU @ 4.4Ghz never gets over 60C and GPU gets up around maybe 80C max

    EDIT: Single gpu used problem solved with THIS:

    "In the Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D settings, the multi-gpu rendering mode is what your looking for I believe. Normally this is on "let Nvidia decide", changing it to "force alternate frame rendering 1" should make it use both gpu's. You can change it at the global level(Global Settings), or program level (Program Settings) in the right pane of the manage 3D settings selection. "

    However I am still only getting 20 FPS and even though both gpus are now used its only usinglike 50-60% on either of them at any given time. and my temps GPU1 & 2 temps are hitting 90C

    Boy that info was old. As am I. Currently my kids have taken over my desktops. They are both sporting matching GTX1080's. Last Christmas I got everyone Oculuses and thus GTX1080's. My eldest is some sort of CSGO champion gold label something or other. Me I work and shoot real guns. Build Comps as needed.

    Have we come to a conclusion as to which drivers are "generally" the best to use? Wondering if I should change drivers.

    My sound is messed up for some reason. Whenever I am looking straight at a character I cant hear them. I have to turn away to be able to hear what they are saying. Its almost like the game is set up for a surround sound system and I am using desktop speakers only. And yes I already checked my system configuration sound setting and it is set for stereo. No 5.1 no 7.1, just stereo 2-speaker config and testing shows it works properly. just not in the game.

    Any idea whats causes this? Because I cannot find any audio configuration options aside from the various volume levels like footsteps and music.

    BTW this is a new install from the game dvd and registered and updated through steam? My original installation which was totally illiget worked flawlessly. This legit install has been plagued with issues. Most annoyingly I can only play for about 5 minutes before the system crashes when I use nexus mod manager to get enhanced graphics.

    Any assist on these issues will be very appreciated.

    How do I fix some sound issues, such as hearing static during NPC dialogue?

    1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound
    2. In the Playback tab, right click on Speakers (or whatever has a green tick next to it), then click Properties
    3. In the advanced tab on this new window, select 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio Quality) in the drop down menu

    Give it a try. Hope it helps.

    Been there done that. I appreciate the help though.

    It seems to have been an issue with my microphone?!?! When I was checking cables I bumped my mic and noticed a very audible "thumP" coming through the speakers. I unplegged the mic and the sound issue went away and the game is no longer crashing??? Wierd. I have gone back to nexus mod manager and am only using the first 4 of the 8 that I have loaded. I will run like this for another day or two then add in the second half to see if the crashing issue is a mod or was also the mic.

    That was just wierd because my mic has always been plugged in and was never an issue even when I first installed the game from DVD. It wasnt until like the next day or two AFTER install that the sound issue arose. Wierd?!?!

    Mods Im using:
    Better static mesh
    different guards
    better rocks and trees
    more bugs or butterflies whetever its called
    better villages
    better scenery
    better cave sounds
    better environment sounds
    pretty eyes
    better scenery

    Although everything look really nice, one thing that has always bothered me. Whenever im in my house in whiterun, the shadows and...."shimmery lights" on walls and characters is WAY WAY WAY blocky and jaggedy like some sort of ANTI-antialiesing?? Let me see if I can get a screen shot later and post it so you can see. I say let me see bacause Ive noticed that print screen doesnt seem to be working for me in-game??

    Yup, that tweak has been around for a while. Odd that your mic was the problem mmmmm!? I assume you have the latest Skyrim patch installed "1.5.26.0" I think.

    I also found this from Bethesda forums. Might be of help to other having sound problems. Forgot who posted so I'll just say thanks to him/her.
    "but if you have Realtek onboard sound and are using stereo speakers or headphones, switch the speaker configuration to 5.1 and uncheck the center channel / sub / rear speaker options like so: http://img507.images...0/lowvolume.png

    The game's audio will be extremely loud now (you've been warned!), and you'll still hear everything behind you and such. I couldn't say if the separation is better or worse but I can at least hear people talk and the music now.
    Not sure if it'll work the same for other sound and system setups, I use headphones and it definitely helped my low volume problem"

    @NaplamV5, your welcome and the images look fantastico!!! Looking forward to more of your awsome pics.

    Here are the jaggedy shadows I was talking about. I only seem to get this in my house in whiteruun. Graphics look really good everywhere else. Its harder to tell on the side of her stomach but in-game those are very pronounced saw-tooth patterms. Of course the shadow of the beam is unmistakable.

    Just started playing this for a little bit again, been playing the dragonborn dlc.
    Which is a bit better in terms of story I think, kinda neat you can ride a dragon but you can't actually tell it were to fly, it just goes wherever lol.

    Anyone else having major issues though?
    I have major clipping issues, for example I walk into a room and all the sudden a bunch of plates start flying around like ufo's, or books start flying at people like there haunted.
    Characters get thrown in the air, or walk in the air, I sometimes have a hard time riding a horse because it ends up dieing after getting thrown in the air.
    My char often acts like they're swimming while walking.
    I fall through the floor ALOT, often have to disable clipping all together and enable god mode to get through parts of the black books because I'm falling through the floor to much to play it normally.
    And of course the miraak invincible bug, ran across that a few times until I went online and found you're supposed to take it slow against him, if you beat on him to quickly it screws up the game.
