    Firmware update on F120??

currently the setup is 2 x F120 ssd drives in a raid0 config...

i have downloaded the update tool and the .pkg files
but the update tool does not see any drives??

whilst i realise the reason the update tool can not see the drives is due to fact the drives are in a raid array.... is there anyway to flash the drives without undoing the array?

would the lovely and intelligent people at corsair be kind enough to make an update tool that can see drives within a raid array?

Here, try the Bootable USB Flash Drive Tool from Corsair

I don't know of any way. The drive controller must be able to address each drive individually to flash each individual firmware.

We don't make the update tools, SandForce does. And, as noted above, I don't think it can be done.

I don't really see the issue. Backup your drives or make a drive image. Switch to IDE mode, flash the firmware, switch back to RAID mode, and all is well. If you have an issue you can try a repair install. If that fails, use your backup or image to restore.

Also, what is your current firmware and why are you flashing?

sorry for the late reply... my f120's have firmware 1.0

the drives have not had any issues its just that every now and then i update all my drivers/bios etc and spotted on the corsair forums that a firmware update was available for the sandforce controlled ssd's

whilst i keep backups with acronis; this seems like a more involved process than updating mobo bios...

    damn raid0; i still do not know/remember why i raid'ed the f120's

If you have no issues, then there is no need to flash. There are no performance gains in the newer firmware.
