Will my original D-TEK FuZion CPU Block fit like a new Intel Core i5-2500K LGA 1155?

If yours is originally with the LGA775 mount then I don't think so (unfortunately)

There is a simple mod you can do to make it fit. 1156 and 1155 share the same size mounts.

Thanks. I'm an old timer, been water cooling for a long time. I don't game anymore but my son does. I'm upgrading to an Intel Core i5-2500K, with a Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 MB. Can't decide if I will go water or not, any suggestions on the latest (Like WC the North/South bridge)? With work and travel I don't have time to do much research. Would like to teach my son to WC and OC.
